Description
On Holocaust Remembrance Day, the world commemorated the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz. To honor the memory and emphasize the importance of never forgetting, the Swedish Holocaust Museum launched a print campaign built on repetition. In one of Sweden's major political news magazines, the museum repeated the phrase “The Holocaust” in all ads – from small columns to full pages and spreads – with a final full-pager baring the message: "We will continue to repeat ourselves so that history does not."
The museum aimed to highlight the need to keep the memory of the Holocaust alive. The campaign, launched just days after Elon Musk’s controversial alleged Nazi salute, underscored the urgency of resisting forgetfulness and historical distortion.
This professional campaign titled 'The Holocaust, The Holocaust, The Holocaust' was published in Sweden in January, 2025.
