Drool
Flip Flops
Description
Fight Global Warming.
Fight Swamp Ass.
Don't want swamp ass? Joga and Climax's campaign warns that, with the continuing rise of global average temperatures, so will the likelihood of swamp ass, and worse yet, everyone will be wearing flip-flops, everyone. Want to relax and forget those hairy toes and drooling dogs you've been looking at all day with a cool, refreshing beer? Sorry, it'll be tepid, at best.
There are, of course, much more serious, scientifically proven, consequences of climate change, but the message relayed is often overwhelmingly ominous or unrelatable. Daily Warming was created to address a large audience and spark conversation, which is why it began running earlier this month in So Foot, France's premier football magazine, and Society, one of France's prominent lifestyle publications.
Most NGOs and climate activists talk about global warming in a global and often alarmist way. Rising waters, forest fires, unbearable temperatures.
With this series of images imagined by the joga agency, the Climax media addresses the trivial consequences of global warming on our daily lives. Seemingly insignificant consequences that could, however, make our lives a living hell if they were to become long-lasting.
There's no melting ice or tornadoes here, just people in flip-flops, drooling dogs and wet butts. You know, those wet butts that make you afraid to get up for work...
