Summit Brewing Co. and the Minnesota Twins have announced a renewed multiyear partnership that will see Summit Brewing Co. continue to be a Twins "Official Craft Beer" and "Official Hometown Craft Beer." With the renewal of this partnership, the iconic Twins Pils packaging is set to undergo a fresh, new look for the 2024 season, featuring the updated Twins logo that the team unveiled before their 2023 season. Target Field will also continue to operate the Summit Brewing Pub in left field, providing fans with a unique and enjoyable beer experience while they cheer on their team.

In 2022 Twins Pils was created in honor of the hometown Minnesota Twins and launched in a light blue can inspired by the 1980s. The new packaging features a bold, red Minnesota Twins logo on a cream background reminiscent of the Twins' home jersey and finished off with pinstripes for a familiar and iconic baseball look.

Twins Pils is a traditional, unfiltered German-style pilsner that features sweet, honey malt notes balanced with floral and citrus hop flavors and finishes dry and clean. It is a perfect beer for taking in a Twins game at Target Field or anywhere Twins Pils is available.

CEO Brandon Bland on the partnership renewal. "The renewal of this partnership is a testament to our shared commitment to providing fans with the best beer experience possible. We are excited to unveil the fresh, new look of Twins Pils just in time for the Twins 2024 season to start."

Local agency Periscope, a Quad company, who was instrumental in the 2022 introduction of Twins Pils, partnered with Summit once again to design the new cans and packaging. "As loyal fans of our hometown team, we were eager to step up to the plate and refresh the design for its hometown beer,” said Chris Stoltz, Senior Designer with Periscope. “We were inspired by the way the new Minnesota Twins branding nods to nostalgia while keeping a modern look and feel, and we felt that would also be the perfect way to represent a modern classic like Summit Twins Pils."

“Much like Summit is synonymous with the highest-quality craft beer, the Twins’ new marks and uniforms quickly became a beloved symbol of championship baseball,” said Sean Moore, the Twins’ Vice President of Brand Partnerships. “Our team, our new look and Summit beer go together like the heart of a batting order. As we build off our October magic and create a 2024 to remember, we cannot wait to join our fans in raising a can of Twins Pils in celebration of many more wins to come!”

Twins Pils will also be available beginning in late March in 12-packs of 12oz cans and on draught at select bars, pubs, restaurants, and liquor stores wherever Summit beer is sold. At Target Field beginning opening day, April 4th, fans will be able to find 16oz cans and draught at select locations throughout the ballpark including at the Summit Brewing Pub near section 229.
