Betty’s Favorite Child Debuts New Design for Sága Juicy IPA.

The can, created by Favorite Child, the design arm of Betty, features the Nordic goddess “Sága,” a drinking partner of Odin, as the focal point. Her expression is one of laughter and enjoyment, differentiating this iteration from the rest of the lineup, and emphasizing the new flavor’s refreshing nature. Juicy hop flavor cues can be seen among her flowing hair within the design. Sága Juicy IPA is brewed with a carefully selected hop combo of American Citra and Amarillo hops, along with Australian Galaxy and New Zealand Nectaron hops, Sága Juicy IPA is a beer that bursts with juicy tangerine, stone fruit and tropical flavors.

Betty, formerly known as Periscope, was given the opportunity in 2023 to redesign the flagship Summit Sága IPA to create a cohesive identity that can be applied across a family of multiple IPAs, including the classic Sága, the new Sága Hazy IPA, and future additional line extensions. Periscope’s partnership with Summit Brewing began back in 2019, and the official work on redesigning the IPA brand began in early 2023.

Sága Juicy IPA can be found in Summit’s latest Sága Goddess Series Variety Pack in 5 states in the upper Midwest.
