Presenting some new design work from creative agency Betty and its dedicated design practice Favorite Child that just hit shelves in time for Sober October – a brand new design for Summit Brewing’s Non-Alcoholic beer Latitude.

The NA beer market continues to outpace the overall category in growth, with sales up 29% in 2023. Driven in part by health-focused lifestyle movements and trends like “Sober October” and “Dry January,” more and more consumers are choosing NA beverages for social moments, whether they choose to abstain from alcohol entirely or simply consume it less frequently.

Like the overall Nialas brand design created by Favorite Child and the design of the existing Nialas varieties — Nialas IPA and Irish-Style Dark — the design concept is one of “The Trailblazer,” empowering beer drinkers to explore a new territory of non-alcoholic beer that still delivers a full flavor created through craft. The Latitude cans feature silhouettes of hikers planting a flag while perched on a rock above a forest lake and is designed in a sunny, lively color palette that suggests its easy-drinking flavor and clean finish.

Nialas Non-Alcoholic Latitude is currently available in the Summit Ratskeller Beer Hall and is on shelves in Summit’s five-state regional market.
