This was brought to life with a tongue-in-cheek print ad in the sports section of the local morning paper — on the day of Gothenburg’s biggest sporting event: the derby between blue-and-white IFK Göteborg and their green-and-black rivals GAIS.
The ad instantly gained traction on social media and fan forums, generating widespread engagement in the long hours leading up to kick-off. Notably, all public reactions were positive. Turns out even GAIS fans have a sense of humor.
The match itself ended in a disappointing tie — but in terms of sponsorship impact, Tvättex came out on top.
