Östergötland has to be experienced
To do a place justice by describing it in words and images is impossible. Everyone who has ever had to sit through a friend’s slide show from their find-yourself-trip to Goa know the feeling.
Instead of bending backward trying to explain themselves, Visit Östergötland wanted to promote themselves as a “you-had-to-be-there” kind of place. In three commercial films we see several attempts to convey the feeling of Östergötland leading to tears and twisted necks. The campaign also includes four movie poster inspired illustrations, created by Mikael Eriksson, based on fictional visitors and their own imaginative interpretation of the places.
