In an effort to advertise the advertising industry itself, BBDO partnered with Tencent - China’s leading entertainment company and video streaming platform - to develop Next Promotion, China’s first advertising reality show that truly showcased the experience of working in an advertising agency. It was an innovative attempt, crossing the boundaries of advertising and entertainment, achieving impressive results both as an entertainment piece like:
1 billion views plus 100 million in social buzz and as an effective advertising piece, job application to BBDO tripled and resulted in 2 million USD worth of new business.
