Freeport Festival (in Swedish: Frihamnsdagarna) is an annual democracy event in Gothenburg, Sweden. With global democracy at its lowest level since the 1980s, it’s more important than ever.
To create a sense of urgency around participation, this print and outdoor campaign shows some of the world’s most powerful anti-democratic figures literally getting in the way of freedom, serving as a reminder that democratic rights can’t be taken for granted.
Without democracy, Freeport Festival would only be port Festival.
