Due to climate change, the population of ticks is increasing, and they are becoming more dangerous for humans. In 2020, Slovakia recorded a historical record in cases of tick-borne encephalitis.

One of the places where a tick hides on a person is the hair. Therefore, when we mow the grass against ticks, we should also cut our hair, so we are able to spot them sooner.

Barbers on a special mower teamed up with Bratislava-Ruzinov Public Services and helped them mow lawns in the city to draw attention to the need to mow hair as well.
