Description
Background
Each year, the number of missing children is reported to be 21,379 in Korea (as of 2021 by the Korean National Police Agency). But due to the lack of interest and awareness, about half of the parents do not register their child's fingerprint and personal information, although it will help them to find their kid more than 84 times faster if they go missing. For this reason, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism Republic of Korea launched a campaign to attract people's attention to missing children and promote the importance of preventing child abductions, together with Everland and the Korean National Police Agency on the 100th anniversary of Children's Day.
Idea
We made growth charts to show how tall several missing children were when they disappeared. The idea for this campaign was inspired from the ride height requirements in place at amusement park. It was intended to draw the sympathy of parents and increase awareness of the issue by reminding them of their own children. Visitors are able to see how missing children would now look and view their detailed personal information by scanning QR codes. A variety of information on preventing child abductions was also made available.
This professional campaign titled 'Growth Chart For Missing Children Board' was published in South Korea in May, 2022. It was created for the brand: Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, by ad agency: Dminusone. This Ambient, Design, and OOH Outdoor media campaign is related to the Other industry and contains 2 media assets. It was submitted about 2 hours ago.
