Description
For its first-ever awareness campaign, the Ahadi Foundation has teamed up with creative agency La Chose to shed light on an urgent yet often overlooked issue : the invisibility of injustices and discrimination faced by women with disabilities.
Titled “The Items”, this campaign highlights a troubling societal reality—one that persists in France and across the globe:
More than any other group, women with disabilities seem to bear the weight of all possible prejudices. They are subjected to a toxic mix of persistent misogyny, deeply rooted misconceptions about their physical and intellectual abilities, and even racism when their skin color makes them a target.
The campaign denounces these compounded biases—barriers that can be just as heavy as the disabilities themselves—through a thought-provoking and unsettling concept : in many cases, inanimate objects are granted more humanity than actual people.
Through three striking statistics, the campaign draws a stark contrast : a wooden desk, an assembly hall chair, or a door—none of these objects hold outdated prejudices. Yet, across politics and business, women with disabilities continue to be confined to subordinate roles simply because of who they are.
To amplify its impact, the campaign will be launched in four major cities : Paris, London, New York, and Stockholm. This fully integrated 360-degree campaign includes a 30-second TV and radio ad, compelling visuals, and testimonials from AHADI Leadership program beneficiaries, as well as media coverage.
This professional campaign titled 'Giving Voice to the Invisible - The Items' was published in France in March, 2025. It was created for the brand: Ahadi Foundation, by ad agency: La Chose. This Film and Integrated media campaign is related to the Public Interest industry and contains 4 media assets. It was submitted 9 months ago.
