Description
AB InBev has launched ‘Cheers to Beer’, a new global campaign created with Wieden+Kennedy ahead of International Beer Day on August 7. The campaign celebrates the role beer has played in bringing people together across cultures and generations, highlighting the everyday occasions where a simple cheers can represent celebration, comfort, gratitude, encouragement or connection.
The campaign is anchored by a global film that showcases a wide range of moments where beer acts as a catalyst for community and belonging. Building on AB InBev’s 2021 ‘Let’s Grab a Beer’ campaign, the new work focuses on what beer can represent once people come together, from intimate everyday gatherings to major sporting events. The campaign is supported by research from Ipsos and IWSR showing beer’s continued strength among legal-drinking-age consumers, as well as growing interest in moderation and no-alcohol options.
The launch follows AB InBev’s Q2 2026 results, which showed continued growth across its beer portfolio. Beer revenue increased 5.6%, while beer volume grew 1.1%, with no-alcohol beer up 27%, Beyond Beer up 44% and its Balanced Choices portfolio up 13%. Together, the campaign and results position beer as a category that continues to adapt to changing consumer preferences while maintaining its longstanding role in social connection.
