Lanvin

Character Studies

Agency: M/M

Description

A campaign to connect the heritage of France’s oldest fashion house with the reality of today.

Lanvin returns to elegance and sophistication, channeling what Jeanne Lanvin called ‘le chic ultime’. Presented through intimate portraits of six female personalities, Steven Meisel and M/M (Paris) reveal the characteristics of a newly imagined Lanvin woman: cultured, curious, discreet, self-possessed and secure in just her own skin.

The campaign was followed by a second series called 'Modern Heroes'; Lensed by acclaimed photographer Steven Meisel, each portrait presents a bold character study in quiet elegance and modern masculinity.

With the release in 2024 of the latest photographs from its Character Studies series by Steven Meisel, Lanvin reveals intimate portraits of individuals who make up and deliver depth to the new universe of the Maison. A gesture in imagery that began in 2022 and exists outside of the simple temporality of seasons and collections.

This professional campaign titled 'Character Studies' was published in France in November, 2022. It was created for the brand: Lanvin, by ad agency: M/M. This Film, Print, and Static Images media campaign is related to the Fashion industry and contains 24 media assets. It was submitted about 1 month ago.
