Known as the country of the sun, Brazil is defined by its beach culture and outdoor lifestyle. Still, even here, people often struggle to fully protect their bodies. Many end up with sunburned patches after a day at the beach simply because they couldn’t reach certain areas, particularly when alone.
With this in mind, Coty and its sunscreen brand Cenoura & Bronze turned this everyday challenge into a lighthearted, educational activation about full-body sun protection.
Created by Fbiz, the idea introduces the “Anti-Toast Hand”, a playful accessory that helps spread sunscreen evenly on hard-to-reach areas, reinforcing the importance of complete protection.
The concept comes to life in a digital film where characters struggle to apply sunscreen on their own, until the “Anti-Toast Hand” offers a simple solution.
According to Regiane Bueno, VP of Marketing at Coty Brazil, “Cenoura & Bronze has a long-standing connection with Brazilians under the sun. With this activation, we turn a common situation into an invitation to raise awareness about complete sun protection.”
The initiative is amplified through digital content, influencers, and real-life demonstrations of the accessory.
As Rodrigo Guimarães, VP of Creative at Fbiz, says, “Talking about sun protection doesn’t need to feel didactic, we chose to wrap education in entertainment.”
