Insight:
Many women living with an abusive partner become conditioned to endure harm, slowly accepting a role they were never meant to play.
Idea:
Transform a familiar punching bag into the figure of a woman shielding herself, a metaphor that exposes how normalized abuse can make victims feel like they exist only to “absorb” violence.
Description:
This self-initiated social campaign was created for the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women.
The visual reframes a punching bag as a woman in a defensive pose, illustrating how repeated harm can distort identity and expectations.
The message is clear: no woman is born for beating, no woman should wait for the next punch and no woman should be turned into the punching bag of an abusive man.
