Gorton’s Seafood is celebrating 175 years and embarking on a journey to spread JOY across the country with its new campaign Yellow, Out of the Blue.

The brand has rallied its community to join the celebration and perform 175 acts of joy across the country - rooted in the brand’s signature color yellow, scientifically proven to be THE uplifting color. Each act is designed to brighten someone’s day. Think… delivering yellow balloons to a neighbor’s doorstep, planting yellow flowers to brighten a community space, donating yellow food items to a food pantry.

Gorton’s Seafood & AOR Connelly Partners are continuing to make this iconic heritage brand relevant and meaningful to a new generation.

While 175 years have passed, this brand isn't stuck in the past. Gorton’s is once again turning to social with this campaign to connect with GenZ and Millennials.

They've handed the keys to creators to come up with their act of joy and film it in a fun, relatable way while spreading happiness to the community. Diverse influencers - from lifestyle content creators to teachers and even furry companions.

The campaign includes influencer, social, media, website, OOH - and will run through the year. The campaign will appear across all of Gorton's owned social channels: TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts, with the majority of influencer content appearing on TikTok and Instagram.

The campaign was created in partnership with its long-time AOR Connelly Partners. The CP team was made up of folks across the global agency network.
