Campaign “Wildfires” – Government of Goiás
The campaign was born from a simple insight: matches, one of the main causes of wildfires, can also symbolize human lives. We created characters made of matchsticks to give shape to the invisible consequences of fire. The same object that ignites the flames came to represent the fragility of the people affected.
Print ads were produced portraying everyday situations — students, farmers, doctors — all represented by matchstick figures. The metaphor reinforced that wildfires are not a distant problem, but something that directly impacts health, education, and the economy. The slogan “Wildfires: sooner or later, they reach you” brought urgency and proximity to the issue.
