Description
Building on last year’s “Give Us the Finger” campaign, “Wear Your Best Life” is another deliberate departure from traditional health-tech marketing. Rather than promoting one single definition of wellness, the campaign presents a broader, more human view of health—one that makes room for individuality, personality, and the full range of lives people lead and goals they have. That philosophy is one half of the story.
At a moment when brands are leaning on AI to generate their ads, Oura went the other way. The film follows hands, not faces, through a one-tenth-scale city built by hand in Prague. To bring the hand to life as a living character, Oura partnered with Nice & Frank, director Sam Walker, and a team of 35 master modelmakers in Prague to physically craft the miniature world. The team worked for 3 weeks to build the set, and real performers' hands carry the scenes.
The production includes a nearly 20-foot city street, working miniature subway cars, a rooftop pool with real water, a skate park, hand-carved brick walls and a motorized miniature taxi. To portray the daily routines of the characters, Oura brought on choreographer Lilach Chen—a viral creator known for pioneering "fingerbreaking" (finger breakdance) with over 1.35 million YouTube followers. Under Chen’s direction, they assembled 14 elite hand dancers representing 14 different countries—including Israel, Italy, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Greece, and the Czech Republic. Their movement gave physical rhythm, stride, and emotion to hands stepping through tiny streets, diving into water, and navigating everyday moments.
The idea came from a practical problem. The ring is small, so Oura has always had to shoot extremely close. This time the team leaned into that constraint completely with a campaign that is, fittingly, handmade.
From Oura CMO, Doug Sweeny:
"Most health tech talks to people as if there's one finish line, but our members don't live that way. Some are chasing a personal best, some just want to sleep through the night, and some are managing chronic conditions. 'Wear Your Best Life' says all of those goals count, and that Oura is here to help you achieve them. We told that story through hands because they're deeply personal. They're how people work, create, and care for others. And the end result is a campaign that feels deeply human, because that’s exactly what it is."
