Description
HARIBO is putting Twin Snakes at the center of its popular Kids’ Voices advertising for the first time, with a new U.S. campaign celebrating the playful sweet-and-sour twist that has helped make the treat a fan favorite.
Created by long-standing strategic and creative partner Quiet Storm, the campaign builds on HARIBO’s much-loved Kids’ Voices platform and the playfulness of Twin Snakes: every piece has a sweet side and a sour side, and everyone seems to have their own preferred way of eating it.
Sweet side first. Sour side first. Heads first. The new spot turns those different rituals into a playful debate between a pair of twins and a friend, each convinced that their way is the right way.
Through Kids’ Voices, the debate plays out with the unmistakable conviction and playfulness of children, bringing HARIBO’s enduring celebration of childlike happiness to a treat with a personality all its own.
The campaign marks a significant moment for Twin Snakes, which has become HARIBO’s second most-purchased treat in the US, behind only Goldbears. Sales of Twin Snakes grew 33% between 2022 and 2025. Twin Snakes will also be available in treat-sized packs for the very first time – as Twin Snakes Minis – with millions of bags included in variety packs this Halloween season.
Twin Snakes’ rise comes alongside significant growth for HARIBO in the U.S. more broadly. NIQ data reported in September 2026 ranks HARIBO #1 in U.S. gummi candy by volume, with the brand now reaching nearly 41% of U.S. households.
While Goldbears remain HARIBO’s most iconic gummi, the growth of Twin Snakes reflects the breadth of a portfolio built around different shapes, textures and flavors, giving fans a variety of treats to enjoy.
Abigail Bennie, Director Brand Management at HARIBO of America, said:
“Goldbears will always be an iconic part of HARIBO, but one of the things that makes the brand so special is the variety across our portfolio. Twin Snakes has built a passionate following of its own and grown significantly in recent years, so it felt like the right moment to put it center stage. This campaign celebrates what makes the treat so distinctive, while staying true to the childlike happiness at the heart of HARIBO.”
Trevor Robinson OBE, Founder and Executive Creative Director at Quiet Storm, said:
“What we liked about this idea is that it starts with a real behavior. Twin Snakes gives you a sweet side and a sour side, and people have surprisingly strong opinions about which bit to eat first. Kids’ Voices gives us the perfect way to turn that into something playful, and very HARIBO.”
The campaign runs across Disney+ and Hulu this fall.
HARIBO Twin Snakes are available at all major retailers in the U.S. For more information about HARIBO and upcoming product details, visit www.haribo.com and follow the fun on Instagram @haribousa.
