WWF Portugal and creative agency Cooprativa turn a simple visual search game into a powerful call to action for nature conservation. Inspired by Where’s Wally?, the D-EVOLUÇÃO campaign invites people to find endangered species hidden within illustrations of three Portuguese natural habitats: Peneda-Gerês National Park, the Tagus Estuary, and Serra do Caldeirão.

Featuring the Iberian lynx, the Iberian wolf, and the seahorse, the campaign transforms curiosity into awareness, revealing the growing challenges facing wildlife and the ecosystems they depend on. As people search for each species, they discover the importance of restoring natural habitats, protecting biodiversity, and addressing threats such as pollution, marine litter, human activity, and habitat degradation.

More than a visual challenge, D-EVOLUÇÃO encourages people to look beyond the image and consider what it takes to ensure these species continue to exist in the wild. By making nature conservation accessible and engaging, the campaign aims to inspire public involvement and support for WWF Portugal’s conservation and restoration work.

Because the real challenge is not simply finding these animals in a picture. It is ensuring that future generations can still find them in nature.
