Christmas brings to mind one familiar scene: grandma’s house, the smell of food wafting through the air, and everyone under one roof. That’s where we began.
From this spark, we built a story about a grandmother willing to do whatever it takes to reconnect with her granddaughter, a bond she had longed to feel again. Determined to reconnect with her granddaughter, whom she hadn’t seen in years, she dedicates herself to learning something new. The twist? Viewers are kept guessing about her goal until the end, where her efforts culminate in a simple yet profoundly moving revelation.
But this story goes deeper. By embracing the theme of inclusion and highlighting the experience of people with disabilities, the film becomes more than a family tale—it’s a reminder that when we step into someone else’s world with empathy, we make life richer for everyone.
