GoodNews, the coffee start-up that was born to revolutionise traditional newsstands, has launched “The Good Coffee Agreement”. A campaign to raise awareness about child-labour in the coffee industry and join forces with large multinationals to put a definitive end to the problem.

The start-up, born during the pandemic to bring good vibes and good news to neighbourhoods, discovered that child-labour was a major problem throughout the coffee production process. As a result, they decided to carry out extensive fieldwork in Colombia and Mexico, started a campaign to raise public awareness and even called on big companies to sit down and talk about common solutions to eradicate the problem once and for all.

“The Good Coffee Agreement” is a new coffee agreement to unite small and large companies under a common goal: to change the industry so that all the coffee we drink, regardless of its brand, is free from child-labour.
