He’s soft, he’s sweet—and now he’s larger than life. This weekend, the Pillsbury Doughboy heads to New York City to celebrate the debut of Pillsbury crescent rolls, biscuits, and cinnamon rolls that now bake up bigger than ever, while keeping the same comforting taste families love. To mark the moment, a 25-foot-tall Doughboy will pop up at Brooklyn Bridge Park on Sunday, September 21, inviting families to laugh, sample freshly baked treats, and—at long last—poke his famous belly in person.
The one-day experience runs from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET and features warm product tastings, Doughboy-approved fun, and interactive surprises. Fans outside New York won’t miss out: beginning September 21, PokeTheDoughboy.com offers a virtual poke experience, digital rebates, and store locators for Pillsbury’s new bigger-bake products.
“At Pillsbury, we’re all about helping families make memories, whether it's around the dinner table or during special moments like this,” said Michelle Odland, Vice President and Business Unit Director, Pillsbury. “So, when we launched our crescent rolls, biscuits, and cinnamon rolls that now bake up bigger, we knew the Doughboy had to go big, too. This celebration is all about joy, togetherness and, of course, belly pokes.”
The larger-than-life Doughboy will also star in a new integrated campaign across TV, online video, and social, showing off his biggest dance moves yet and even a few surprising drumming skills.
