Ten Days That Shook The World
Challenge: Inspire the audience to watch the play celebrating the Russian revolution; a story based on the book “10 Days That Shook the World,” by American journalist John Reed, held jointly by Armazém da Utopia (Utopia’s Warehouse) and the Companhia de Teatro Ensaio Aberto (Open Rehearsal Theater Company).
Idea : Tell this historical account through 10 hybrid posters inspired by the style of the time with a touch of modern design. In this series we represent characters, ideologies and events that influenced the world we live in now. The posters were installed in the port region of Rio, exhibited at the Utopia Warehouse, sent to influential journalists and sold to the public.
Result: The play was praised by critics and watched by thousands of people, also entering history with a record turnout.
