Parodontax

Spitting Blood Means Action

Agency: Grey London

Description

Grey London, as part of WPP’s team Vitale, has launched a new campaign for Parodontax built around the message ‘Spitting Blood Means Action.’ Directed by Finn Keenan through Riff Raff Films, the campaign uses the visual language and spectacle of martial arts cinema to challenge conventional healthcare advertising and raise awareness that bleeding gums can be a sign that action is needed.

The 90-second film begins with an ordinary tooth-brushing routine before quickly turning into an action sequence when the protagonist notices blood in the sink. She races to a pharmacy and becomes involved in a highly choreographed battle over the last tube of Parodontax, using toothbrushes as weapons and dental floss as a lasso. The concept plays on the familiar movie trope where characters shrug off blood and carry on, reframing that behaviour to show how people often dismiss bleeding gums in real life.

Launching across EMEA through 2026 and 2027, the campaign targets health-conscious adults who take an active approach to their wellbeing but may not recognise when specialist gum care is needed. With nearly half of adults expected to experience gum disease at some point, the work aims to make Parodontax the memorable choice for people experiencing gum problems by replacing the clinical tone of traditional dental advertising with humour, action and high-energy storytelling.

This professional campaign titled 'Spitting Blood Means Action' was published in United Kingdom in August, 2026. It was created for the brand: Parodontax, by ad agency: Grey London. This Film medium campaign is related to the Health industry and contains 1 media asset. It was submitted 28 minutes ago.
