What makes more noise than noise? Silence.
Because thousands of child soldiers died last year in total anonymity, we decided to pay tribute to them while raising awareness among the Belgian population. And so the CHUT (Shhh) music project was born. CHUT is an album. CHUT is 10 artists. CHUT is 10 times 1 minute's silence to raise awareness of the cause of child soldiers and mark the 10th anniversary of WAPA International.
Famous musical artists such as Puggy, Colt, Ozark Henry, Témé Tan, Charles, Doowy, Nicola Testa, OK Panda, Two Dots and Théophile Renier were there to keep quiet. And because a minute of silence is not necessarily a minute of nothing, everyone was able to give their own interpretation of these 60 short seconds. Thanks to them, all these minutes of silence can be heard on the CHUT collector's vinyl album, on the CHUT Spotify playlist, on the radio and on social networks.
The album was released on International Child Soldiers' Day.
