Colégio Simples

Sharpened, Not Erased

Agency: WIEN

First place overall in the ENEM. Simple as that.

When a mistake doesn't turn into learning, it's the student who wears down.

Description

Colégio Simples is a high school in Mossoró, in Brazil's northeastern countryside. In 2025 it earned the highest average in the city on the ENEM - Brazil's national college entrance exam, the country's most decisive academic test.

The campaign refuses the trade-off Brazilian schools take for granted: that top results must be paid for with exhausted, anxious teenagers. Its central insight is that when a mistake is erased instead of understood, it teaches nothing — and what actually wears down isn't the paper, it's the student.

Two pieces carry the idea through the objects of school life. In the first, a pencil sharpened down to a stub produces a trophy built entirely from its own shavings: the result is made of effort, not of shortcuts. In the second, an eraser bearing a student's face is worn away by a hand rubbing out a mistake - the visual argument that erasing a mistake to hide it costs the student a piece of himself.

This professional campaign titled 'Sharpened, Not Erased' was published in Brazil in July, 2026. It was created for the brand: Colégio Simples, by ad agency: WIEN. This OOH Outdoor medium campaign is related to the Education industry and contains 2 media assets.
