Manchester City F.C. is marking International Women’s Day 2026 with *Send it Forward*, a campaign celebrating the women shaping the game today while encouraging the next generation to pursue careers in football. Inspired by the year’s theme, “Give to Gain,” players and staff have written messages of advice aimed at inspiring girls to see a future in the sport.

The guidance will be shared throughout March across club social channels and through a series of augmented reality postcards. Contributors include members of the women’s team alongside staff working in areas such as sports science, data and community engagement, offering insight into the many roles that support the modern game.

Fans can collect the postcards at club stores at Etihad Stadium, Manchester Arndale and Trafford Centre, as well as on selected matchdays. Supporters outside Manchester can also participate online by selecting a postcard and sending it free to a girl they hope to inspire.
