Jogo., a Brazilian agency comprised of global creators who unite to develop strategic and innovative solutions through sports and entertainment, is responsible for creating, in partnership with Corona Cero, the "Relaxation Clause" present in the contracts of athletes sponsored by the brand.
The project was initially launched in Brazil with the support of surfing athletes such as Gabriel Medina, Tati West, Pedro Scooby, and Chloé Calmon. Now, this unique concept crosses borders and integrates into international contracts with athletes from various sports.
The "Relaxation Clause" encourages athletes to include moments of rest and connection with nature in their routines as a way to ensure a balance between high performance and well-being. This clause becomes an essential part of partnership agreements between Corona and global athletes like Olympic medalist and British cyclist Evie Richards, Chilean volleyball player Marco Grimalt and Colombian BMX world champion Mariana Pajón. The inclusion of this term extends contracts by at least one week, promoting meaningful and innovative breaks.
Jogo.'s CCO, Matías Menéndez, celebrates the impact that the campaign has brought to the sports sector: "Our focus has always been to create strategic and creative solutions that connect brands with consumers, brands with athletes, and we are proud to provide a new vision for sports partnerships. This new approach reflects Corona's central purpose through Corona Cero, encouraging people to experience more moments to relax and connect with nature. It was designed to promote balance and provide flexibility for athletes to incorporate relaxation periods into their lifestyles. In the future, the Relaxation Clause will be a priority for the brand's talent partnerships.
