While much of the world grew up playing war, Costa Rica learned to play in peace. Yet the traditional plastic toy soldiers that generations grew up with had never reflected that uniquely Costa Rican identity… until today.
That’s why Grupo Purdy, the country’s largest automotive dealership, presents the Peace Soldiers, a symbolic reinterpretation that celebrates the 1948 decision and reminds us that, in Costa Rica, abolishing the army was always the right path.
