Description

The "Minefields Honey" campaign is a collaborative initiative between Saatchi & Saatchi Ukraine, Kernel, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. The project aims to transform mined agricultural lands into blooming fields by sowing honey-producing plants using drones. Bees then collect nectar from these plants, producing honey that serves as a symbolic product to raise awareness and funds for demining efforts in Ukraine.

Campaign Objectives
- Highlight the impact of landmines on Ukraine's agriculture and economy.
- Utilize innovative methods to safely cultivate mined lands.
- Produce honey as a diplomatic tool to garner international support for demining initiatives.

The campaign employed a blend of nature and technology. Drones were used to sow special honey-producing plants over mined fields, avoiding direct human contact. Bees collected nectar from these plants, producing honey that was packaged in limited-edition jars. These jars contained detailed information about the landmine issue and were distributed to influential individuals as invitations to fundraising events for Ukraine's demining efforts.

The "Minefields Honey" project garnered significant international attention, serving as a powerful symbol of resilience and innovation. It effectively raised awareness about the challenges faced by Ukraine due to landmines and mobilized resources for demining operations. The campaign was recognized for its creative approach, receiving accolades such as the Grand Prix at the Kyiv International Advertising Festival.
