Description
2 in 3. That’s how many smokers will die too soon if they don’t quit smoking.
Our brief was simple: create a campaign that would help drive down the number of smokers across Cheshire and Merseyside and, importantly, signpost them to support to help them do so.
Stop For Good combines hard-hitting messaging with a clear sense of hope, speaking to people’s desire to stay healthy for the ones they love. Part of the wider Champs Public Health Collaborative Smoking Ends Here campaign, the powerful TV ad at its heart tells the story of a smoker’s journey to quitting through the eyes of her son.
The one-minute advert depicts a young boy looking back on his mum’s multiple attempts to stop smoking, with viewers being shown the child clutching a single rose as a funeral hearse passes by. However, in a positive twist, his mum then appears healthy and well, now that she has finally stopped for good.
