Description
Swedish legal tech company Legora turns Aaron Judge’s greatest asset, his ability to shut out the noise and focus on the pitch that matters, into a metaphor for how AI can help legal teams work.
Earlier this year, Legora announced a multi-year partnership with Aaron Judge and the New York Yankees. Now, the AI company is activating the partnership in a new campaign — the latest in a string of idea-led work built around an unlikely but deliberate connection to the brand.
Previous campaigns have included using Jude Law to turn his own name into the campaign idea, and The Man Behind the Man, which shifted the spotlight from Swedish golf star Ludvig Åberg to his caddie Joe Skovron — a metaphor for the behind-the-scenes support Legora provides legal professionals.
This time, that same approach moves to baseball.
Built around the line “Focus where it matters most,” the campaign draws a simple connection between Judge’s job at the plate and the work of a lawyer: knowing where your attention makes the biggest difference.
That idea is brought to life through a visual device inspired by baseball’s strike zone and MLB’s new ABS Challenge System. As the film progresses, the frame tightens around Judge, shrinking away everything outside the zone until only what demands his full attention remains.
The timing is deliberate. Introduced across MLB in 2026, the ABS Challenge System allows disputed ball-and-strike calls to be checked digitally against the strike zone — effectively turning one of baseball’s most familiar judgments into something that can now be visualized and verified in real time.
“From the strike zone to legal work, there’s a pretty straight line,” says Stuart Shingler, SVP Brand and Communications at Legora. “For Aaron, it’s about shutting everything else out and focusing entirely on the next pitch. For lawyers, it’s about spending less time on research, administration and other time-consuming work, so they can put more of their attention into the judgment, experience and expertise that make the biggest difference.”
Like Legora’s previous sports work, the campaign is shot in black and white — part of an emerging visual and strategic platform for the brand’s sponsorships.
“Too many sponsorships stop at a logo and a famous face,” says Erik Nordenankar, Art Director at NoA Åkestam Holst. “We think there has to be an idea behind it — a reason why this person and this brand belong together. For us, a sponsorship should always say something about what Legora stands for, or what it actually does for its customers.”
Created by NoA Åkestam Holst, the campaign rolls out across TV, online video and social, alongside OOH and DOOH in New York, including Times Square and a takeover at the 161st Street–Yankee Stadium subway station.
This professional campaign titled 'Focus where it matters most.' was published in Sweden and United States in September, 2026. It was created for the brand: Legora, by ad agency: Åkestam Holst NoA. This Film, Integrated, and OOH Outdoor media campaign is related to the Electronics, Technology industry and contains 4 media assets. It was submitted 40 minutes ago.
