Rosalía

Berghain - feat. Björk & Yves Tumor

Agency: CANADA, Barcelona

Description

2026 Cannes Lions Grand Prix winner

The music video for *Berghain*, the lead single from Rosalía’s upcoming album *Lux*, follows the singer through a series of ordinary daily routines while she is accompanied everywhere by a full orchestra. Directed by Nicolás Méndez, the film transforms familiar settings such as her apartment, the street and a bus journey into quietly surreal spaces, reflecting the album’s blend of classical influences, experimentation and contemporary pop.

Building on the visual language established in earlier collaborations such as *Malamente* and *TKN*, Méndez introduces a more refined and cinematic style that mirrors Rosalía’s evolving musical direction. Featuring collaborations with Björk and Yves Tumor, the track combines orchestral arrangements with elements of opera, while the film complements this shift through meticulous production design and a subtle narrative centred around a piece of jewellery that rewards repeated viewing.

As the story progresses, the film gradually moves from realism into fantasy. When Björk’s vocals begin, Rosalía’s apartment transforms into a forest inhabited by woodland creatures, creating a dreamlike atmosphere that balances beauty, humour and a hint of darkness. Shot in Warsaw, the video evokes the history and mystique of old Europe, with Méndez using every frame to reinforce the song’s sense of wonder while introducing Rosalía’s latest artistic evolution.
