Description
In Korea, an invisible crisis plagued over 500 schools as photos of students and teachers were stolen and weaponized into deepfakes by peers, spreading online before anyone could react. The irreversible damage highlighted a critical insight: reactive measures were failing, and true safety needed to begin at the source, embedding protection within the camera the moment a photo is created.
Samsung's response was not merely another safety app, but a fundamental reimagining of the phone's camera. The core idea was to transform the camera from the starting point of vulnerability into the first line of defense, embedding invisible protection directly into the pixels of every photo right at the moment of capture.
