Description
Experiential execution consists of water fountain installations across Central Park during the hottest predicted heat wave of the summer. These water fountains will be equipped with a treadmill platform. The fountains are programmed to release water only after 1 minute of walking on the treadmill (.05 miles). The treadmill will stop and water will release for just 7.5 seconds (1 cup)--the same walking to drinking ratio as the girls in the narrative. A nearby screen will show the narrative of the young women Charity: Water has helped. Each minute will have a different narrative shown. A QR code will be displayed for people to scan and donate for a water well to be built.
