Over 600 million people around the world lack access to clean water, and when they do encounter water, it’s often in extremely limited quantities. Without access to clean water, people cannot always perform the simplest of tasks, such as cooking, cleaning, showering, etc. Without water, cooking is impossible. (DIGITAL): My digital execution is a play on Buzzfeed’s hugely popular, share-worthy “Tasty” videos. The videos show a step-by-step process on how to cook certain recipes—and with what ingredients. While the video commences as any other “Tasty” video, there is a twist later on—the recipe cannot be completed without water. The short video will be placed on Facebook to encourage sharing and awareness.
