While UN Chief Guterres rings the bell of the arrival of a global boiling era, the world turns into a boiling pot. Through global conflicts, armed forces wage war not only against humanity, but also the environment. Their activities account for at least 5.5% of global CO2 emissions; a figure that is unrealistic, due to the militaries' exemption from environmental regulation.
"War or Warming" is a series of print ads that use of metaphors to illustrate the harsh reality of both the human and environmental costs of war. The campaign seeks to raise awareness about the exclusion of armed forces from international climate agreements, preventing the disclosure of their complete CO2 footprint.
