Coca-Cola

Tricky Orders

Agencies: WPP OpenX Ogilvy

Description

Coca-Cola has united 13 major quick-service restaurants, including Domino’s, Popeyes, Five Guys and Wendy’s, in its national “And a Coke” campaign. The work celebrates the familiar habit of adding “…and a Coke” to any order, elevating a simple phrase into a shared cultural ritual that spans drive-thrus, counters and generations of diners.

Launched in cinemas before rolling out across TV, digital and delivery platforms like Uber Eats and DoorDash, the campaign features a series of films capturing diverse American ordering moments. From busy families to niche subcultures, each scenario highlights how instinctively the phrase “and a Coke” completes the meal, reinforcing the brand’s ubiquity in everyday dining occasions.

Developed by WPP Open X, led by Ogilvy with support from Publicis Groupe and Zeno Group, the campaign underscores Coca-Cola’s deep ties to foodservice. With partnerships spanning decades and a presence in over 500,000 outlets, the initiative positions the brand at the centre of dining culture, turning everyday orders into moments of familiarity and connection.

This professional campaign titled 'Tricky Orders' was published in Multinational Worldwide and United States in April, 2026. It was created for the brand: Coca-Cola, by ad agencies: Ogilvy and WPP OpenX. This Film medium campaign is related to the Drinks (Non Alcoholic) industry and contains 3 media assets.
