The Obsolete Future Found Anew
The Past of Tomorrow Rises Again
Future Reclaimed
Futurism of the Present Already Past
Description
Archaeology of the Future is a conceptual electronic music project by Jairo Guerrero, originally released five years ago. The album explores the theme of a dystopian future through four distinct sonic moments, crafted using synthesizers and digital tools that, at the time, were meant to create the sound of the future but were already on the verge of becoming obsolete. The concept of the project revolves around how technology, despite being cutting-edge today, will inevitably be replaced tomorrow.
In a reimagining of this work, Jairo Guerrero has remastered and restructured the album, offering a fresh take on his vision of the future. This newly reworked version allows listeners to experience the past of tomorrow, rediscovered in the present.
To promote the re-release, the campaign uses powerful visuals featuring archaeological excavations where the discovery of obsolete technologies, symbolized by a synthesizer, reflects the core idea of the project. Each image invites the audience to uncover the sonic remnants of a future that has yet to arrive.
