The Forest is our Home

Description

Summertime means longer days, with the weather inviting us to spend more time outdoors. In Germany, many of us will spend our free time and weekends hiking, exploring, and discovering places in the various forests across the country.

This is a critical time of year: it's often when forest fires occur. They rarely happen naturally and can usually be traced back to human activities. According to waldwissen.net, approximately 96% of forest fires in Germany are caused by human activity.

We believe that summer is the right time to remember how important it is to behave responsibly when visiting natural environments and to avoid doing anything that could negatively impact the ecosystem. The exciting trails, the trees, and the refreshing shade they provide—everything we take for granted, like a walk in the forest—is a privilege we must cherish and preserve for future generations.

To this end, we have created a series of posters promoting a fictional movie called "The Forest is Our Home," reminding the audience that when we visit the forests, we are just guests, and nature is our host. The trees provide food and shelter to a variety of native wildlife. In the campaign, three different animal species remind us that German forests are their home and that we need to be conscious and act responsibly when 'visiting' them.

This professional campaign titled 'The Forest is our Home' was published in Germany in August, 2024. It was created for the brand: Aktion Baum, by ad agency: FRASER. This Digital, OOH Outdoor, and Print media campaign is related to the Public Interest industry and contains 4 media assets. It was submitted 8 months ago by MD Creation & Partner: Fernando Barbella of FRASER .
