We were asked to challenge the ideas around female pleasure and sexual wellness. But to understand female pleasure, we need to understand the organ responsible for it i.e. the clitoris. From a complete absence in anatomy classes to a misrepresentation in media - the clitoris is largely ignored. This cultural ignorance is the primary reason for the orgasm gap. #TheClitCatchUp shines the spotlight on the clit, starting a conversation that gets women to realise that there's more to their bodies, and to their sexual pleasure, than they had thought.
