Description
Ahead of the Volume 2 launch for the fourth season of Netflix's Stranger Things, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra’s Nightography feature is making stranger nights even more epic. In a global collaboration, Samsung and Netflix are launching “Stranger Nights,” a short film created by BBH USA that highlights the night mode technology by showing viewers what sights can be captured in the dark—even when filmed accidentally. The campaign will launch globally and will have a large retail presence in stores like Best Buy, as well as a heavy focus in social and digital media.
Things Unseen
The global campaign — part of an ongoing collaboration between Netflix and Samsung — is designed to drive intrigue and conversation about both the new season of the show and the Galaxy S22 Ultra’s Nightography feature.
Evoking the cinematic quality of the hit series, the powerful film follows a young girl and her friends on a seemingly innocent night ride, accidentally capturing the Upside Down that’s lurking just beyond. Unaware that terrifying demo-monsters have been just a few feet behind, the girl arrives at a watch party to discover that the S22 Ultra in her back pocket had been recording the entire ride, revealing what’s been hiding in the darkness thanks to the phone’s innovative Nightography technology.
This professional campaign titled 'Stranger Nights' was published in United States in June, 2022. It was created for the brands: Netflix and Samsung, by ad agencies: BBH USA and Stink Films.
