With the evolution of technology, scammers are spreading on the Internet, with increasingly elaborate schemes. Pretending to be official companies, they try to steal the data and money of the most unwary.
In Belgium, to counter this phenomenon, Digital Wallonia has decided to launch an awareness campaign with Hungry Minds.
The commercial features an ordinary Internet user who unsuspectingly clicks on a notification of the kind we are increasingly receiving. Instead of innocently following his alleged parcel, the unfortunate man sees all his furniture disappear, completely stunned.
To avoid this mishap, we invite the Belgian public to inform themselves before clicking, downloading or sharing their data.
