To launch the new Reebok Classics collection in Ecuador, the brand challenged the traditional marketing strategy of using international celebrities by completely turning the spotlight onto local talent. Instead of relying on their global ambassador, Reebok partnered with emerging Ecuadorian fashion designer Santo, giving him total creative freedom to deconstruct, redesign, and reinterpret the brand's iconic pieces through his own cultural lens using handcrafted finishes. The reinvented collection was unveiled in an immersive physical experience at the Quito Contemporary Art Center, accompanied by local musicians and visual artists. This bold celebration of Ecuadorian creativity successfully fused Reebok's global heritage with local culture, proving that elevating local voices can drive phenomenal brand engagement.
