Mattie's Place

Pet-ition

Agency: Publicis Toronto

Description

Canada's animal welfare laws are shockingly weak and even define animals as property instead of living creatures, so award-winning pet rescue Mattie's Place started 'The Pet-ition', the first petition signed by pets to improve animal rights laws.

This campaign took advantage of a legal loophole in petition law, which doesn't explicitly state you must be human to sign, and instead merely calls for a name, address and signature, which pets all have.

This professional campaign titled 'Pet-ition' was published in Canada in May, 2024. It was created for the brand: Mattie's Place, by ad agency: Publicis Toronto. This 360° medium campaign is related to the Other, Pets, and Public Interest industries and contains 1 media asset. It was submitted 12 days ago.
