It introduced King+ Sim, with a breakthrough offer of 20Gb data/day, 200 min off-net, free on-net, with only 3,5$/month.
The offer instantly broke the industry norm in Vietnam. Or probably, the world. And so did the launch.
The launch featured a protest against Vietnamobile itself, making it probably the first brand to do so. A protest by those whose daily life affected like never before.
From moms receiving non-stop calls from their children to dads keep embarrassing sons with constant live-streams. From movie fans desperately ran out of shows to watch to TikTokers, students having too much data to spend.
The blame goes to those great offers of King+ Sim.
The protest was filmed as a news report and instantly spreads widely on social media.
