Description
MILES ARE EATEN BEFORE THEY'RE RUN.
For runners, a race doesn't begin when the starting gun goes off.
It begins much earlier.
It starts with every training session, every decision, and most importantly, every meal that prepares the body for the effort ahead.
While most people see pasta as food, runners see it as fuel. Behind every mile covered lies a real need for energy, carbohydrates, and preparation.
Built on this truth, Il Tano transformed the routes of the San Pedro Sula Marathon into real pasta equivalents, using elevation, calorie expenditure, and performance data to demonstrate that miles are not only run — they are eaten first.
The campaign turns a nutritional recommendation into a powerful visual idea, making the relationship between performance and nutrition visible. In doing so, Il Tano moves beyond being a fresh pasta maker and becomes part of every runner's preparation.
Because before crossing a finish line, energy must first be built.
And that energy starts on the plate.
