MANHOLE FOR TRASH
Agency: Dog Blood Creative School
Description
Insight:
Urban dwellers frequently perceive manholes as suitable receptacles for discarding waste due to their large, open appearance.
Idea:
"Manhole for Trash" addresses this issue through the implementation of a significantly larger, manhole-shaped bin strategically positioned directly above the actual manhole.
Rationale:
This design intervention creates a more visually appealing and convenient target for waste disposal. By drawing attention to the oversized bin, the actual manhole is visually diminished, reducing its perceived utility as a trash receptacle. This novel approach aims to discourage littering while simultaneously enhancing waste management infrastructure.
